Douglas lifeboat raced to the rescue of a yacht and its crew yesterday after it ran into problems 10 miles of the Island's coast.
The Sir William Hillary was called into action at around 9am when the 8.5m yacht with three people aboard hit difficulties.
Winds ripped its mainsail, and its engine overheated as it headed back to Douglas.
The lifeboat safely towed the vessel to port - all three people on board the yacht were all suffering from sea sickness, one severely.
