Ramsey's volunteer lifeboat crew was called out yesterday after an inflatable dinghy began drifting out to sea.
The incident happened shortly before 3.30pm.
A three-meter dinghy with one person on board was spotted a mile from the harbour entrance drifting away.
The Ann and James Ritchie 2 brought the dinghy back to shore, and nobody was hurt during the rescue.
