Douglas lifeboat was called to the aid of a fishing boat with engine failure yesterday.
Volunteers were paged just after 11.50am to help the 9-metre vessel, which had one person on board.
The boat had left Douglas an hour earlier on a fishing trip, when its engine overheated.
The vessel was quickly found and safely towed back to Douglas Marina.
