Douglas Council is asking people to let their grass grow wild next month.
The local authority says it’s taking part in No-Mow-May, a campaign to save wildflowers and insects.
By delaying mowing, you can encourage wildflowers to grow and feed creatures such as bees and butterflies.
The council says it’s planning to delay mowing in several areas throughout the city.
