Police are asking the public to plan their journey home this evening as the roads open for a short period.
They’ll be open from 4:30pm to allow for commuter traffic, with residents and visitors being reminded that the Mountain Road remains two way.
The constabulary says historically they do see crashes in this window of roads opening as people rush to get home, and they’ve noticed a marked increase in motorcycles on the road.
Officers will be deployed around the TT course before roads close again at 6pm.
