Laxey's community medical first responder has car tires slashed

The St John Ambulance volunteer who serves as Laxey's community responder posted on social media about how his tires were slashed

Stuart Greaves said the damaged car is the one he uses to attend cardiac arrests and other emergencies before to provide help before an ambulance can attend.

He described all four tyres of his Volkswagen Golf as having been "Stabbed, totally destroyed".

Mr Greaves commented: "We are so upset that all the hours of volunteering have been rewarded in this way, If anyone has any information please contact the police as this sort of behaviour is not part of our lovely village community".
