Manx National Heritage will find out later if its plans for a new Laxey Wheel visitor entrance can go ahead.
The planning committee is due to discuss the planning and registered building consent applications this morning.
Planning officers have recommended the application is approved.
The plans would see the existing ticket office demolished and replaced with a modern-looking new visitor's hub.
