Action is being driven across government to help Laxey residents affected by this weeks floods.
That's according to Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, after flooding on Tuesday had devastating effects in the town seeing homes lose power, cars washed away and people being trapped in their homes.
Mr Quayle says 'what matters now is putting things right' - adding 'all options' are being considered to help people start afresh and to prevent such incidents in the future.
A community liaison officer is being appointed to visit affected residents and ideas for permanent new infrastructure in the village as a long-term solution are being examined, according to officials.
