Garff Commissioners have announced that Laxey Fair is to be 'rested' this year.
The event will not be going ahead after 'lengthy deliberation,' whilst the format is reconsidered.
The Laxey Fair Committee is now appealing for volunteers and parents of children at Laxey School to join and offer ideas on how the event can be relaunched next year.
