Laxey School and Dhoon School are closed this morning with poor weather affecting the Islands highways.
It's been announced both will be shut until at least Noon as staff are currently unable to reach either of them due to road closures as a result of the heavy rainfall.
Officials say the situation will be monitored throughout this morning.
Heavy showers are causing havoc on roads across the Isle of Man at present - a yellow weather warning remains in place until 10am.
