Legislation which could bring in price controls to protect gas consumers is making progress through parliament.
The Gas Economic Regulation Bill will go through its clauses stage in the Legislative Council today, Tuesday, April 7.
It would introduce a licensing regime, allow the Island's regulator to set limits on prices, and provide protection for vulnerable customers.
The Legislative Council is due to sit from 10am on Tuesday, April 7 in Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
