The last surviving piece of Douglas Cable Tramway machinery is now on display in the town.
A cable tram flywheel, dating from 1894, has been installed in the bottleneck car park.
Douglas Borough Council leader, David Christian, says examples of Manx heritage like this 'defines who we are as a nation'.
