Last chance to voice opinion on Douglas Promenade

It’s your last chance to have your say on how Douglas Promenade could look in the future.

The Department of Infrastructure’s public consultation will come to a close later today.

Designs for a total makeover of the promenades, estimated to cost over £17 million, were drawn up last year.

Ideas include moving the horse trams, changing the current layout of parking and revamping the road surface.

Director of Highways Richard Pearson says it’s an important subject:
