A Ramsey Commissioner says they are 'not in a position to delineate the town into acceptable and unacceptable places to park large vehicles.'
Juan McGuinness took to social media as the Department of Infrastructure proposes new parking restrictions for vehicles of a certain size.
It would mean vehicles over 1.87 metres high or 5.5 metres long wouldn't be allowed to park in certain areas at weekends or overnight.
Mr McGuinness says it would have ramifications for a wide variety of residents and create parking issues elsewhere.
He added that the enforcement of these regulations outside of daytime hours will be 'almost impossible.'
