Ronaldsway airport saw a huge jump in the number of passengers using the facility in May.
The latest figures from the airport show 63,286 people passed through last month, compared to 57,857 last year - a rise of almost 9.5 per cent.
But the total number of passengers so far this year is still down on last year's tally.
The Department of Infrastructure says 630,716 passed through in the first five months of 2026, down more than three per cent on last year's 651,500 figure.
