The Inquiry into the Langness footpaths starts today.
A specialist from the UK is on the Island to discuss the situation involving top gear host Jeremy Clarkson.
The paths became the focus of a bitter row after the TV presenter blocked ramblers from walking past his house, which they argued was public property.
The Department of Transport arranged the Inquiry last year.
