King Williams college has applied for registered building consent as it relocates the Buchan School's nursery to its main building.
The college, in Castletown, has applied to make changes to its medical centre to make room for the extra youngsters.
In its application it says it would create a new door and corridor but wouldn't need to change the building's exterior.
The Buchan School site closed last year, with the two campuses merging.
