A Kirk Michael man has been remanded at the Isle of Man Prison after admitting making and distributing indecent images of children.
41-year-old Philip John Kermode, of Douglas Road, surrendered his bail after appearing at Douglas Courthouse this week.
He pleaded guilty to 15 offences of making more than 100 still and moving images between January 2014 and September this year.
Kermode also admitted distributing a number of the images, via mobile applications, between April and August.
Some of the pictures were rated at the most serious level on the COPINE scale - the rating system used to categorise the severity of images of child sex abuse.
Kermode will be sentenced at the Court of General Gaol Delivery - he'll next appear there on November 5th.
