A local woman has donated designer shoes to the Island's Hospice, after a pair were stolen last week.
A pair of Jimmy Choo shoes were taken from the Hospice's shop on Strand Street last Wednesday - and despite a police appeal, have not been returned.
After seeing the story in the news, local woman Rachel O'Connor decided to donate some designer shoes - that she had worn on her wedding day.
The pair will now be sold in the Hospice Shop to raise funds for patients and their families to live their way, until the end of their lives.
The Hospice says they 'are so very grateful to Rachel and can’t thank her enough for showing us that they are many amazing and kind people in the world.'
