Problems with buses meant a £15,000 science and technology event for children had to be postponed this year.
In the House of Keys this week, Enterprise minister Tim Johnston faced questions about STEMfest.
The event at the Villa Marina was called off and it's now thought it'll be held next year.
Mr Johnston said the problem was with transporting children there:
