Kerbside recycling collections have restarted in Douglas.
Douglas Borough Council says, for now, the service will only take glass bottles and cans which should be rinsed and placed in separate boxes.
Officials add this temporary change is to avoid the risk of workers handling materials which could potentially be contaminated with COVID-19.
In the short term, residents are being asked to dispose of any plastic and paper at one of the Island's government-run bring banks.
