Just one beach on the Isle of Man has been recommended by the Marine Conservation Society.
The beach is Derbyhaven in Castletown.
The MSC say they only recommend a beach for bathing if it had excellent water quality in the latest tests and isn’t affected by badly treated, continuous waste water discharges.
Five Island beaches, including Laxey and Douglas, failed the minimum legal water quality standard.
