A teenager from Onchan who’s been jailed for causing a “catastrophic” car crash which claimed the life of a fellow teen has been told it’s “miraculous” that anyone survived.
At Douglas Courthouse today 18-year-old Brandon Gowland was sentenced to three years and nine months in prison.
He’d previously pleaded guilty to causing the death of 17-year-old Brad Campbell by dangerous driving on August 24th last year.
He also admitted causing serious bodily harm to another passenger in the car after failing to negotiate a left-hand bend and crashing into a house on the Foxdale Road.
