The Isle of Man has been officially recognised as the best star gazing location in the British Isles.
The accolade comes after the Dark Sky Discovery Network announced the Island now has a total of 26 designated discovery sites.
This number represents the largest concentration in the British Isles.
The story has been picked up by the British media, with extensive press in all of today’s major newspapers.
