Island\'s Unemployment Levels Fall to Yearly Low
Last month saw the Island record the lowest rates of unemployment in the past year.
By the end of October the unemployment level stood at 888, that's 2.1% of the economically active population.
Of the unemployed over 600 are male and 249 are female.
It is feared however that the number is soon to shoot up again given the possibility of mass cut backs in the public sector.
The move would be a money saving initiative by the Government in light of the recent slash of budget.
