A local charity is calling for the government to address 'exceptionally high' broadband prices.
The Digital Poverty Alliance has written an open letter to the Cabinet Minister after being alerted to the problem by a Manx resident.
The alliance says the cost of accessing broadband on the Island is very high compared to UK rates, which 'exacerbates' the issue of digital poverty.
Members want to hear what plans the government has, as 'extreme charges have to potential to disadvantage those who need the internet most.'
