Health and Social Care Minister Kate Beecroft says the Isle of Man follows the UK's lead on donating organs - and she's adopting a "wait and see" approach to any changes.
In Tynwald this week she was asked why the Island doesn't have an opt-out donation scheme where people automatically donate organs unless they say otherwise.
Mrs Beecroft said her department follows UK policy and best practice on organ donation.
But she said she's keeping an eye on Wales which has introduced a similar scheme recently:
