The Isle of Man will be hosting a gruelling mountain biking competition later this year.
The British Cycling National Mountain Bike Marathon Championships will be held on Island in July - the competition involves local and UK cyclists tackling a 100km off road course.
The course is a 'gruelling, hard going and strenuous day out' according to the event organisers - elite riders will go on to complete the 100-mile lap as well that day.
Those interested but not able to do the full lap are welcome to enter the last 50km - event organiser Nigel Morris lays out the full route:
