The Isle of Man will be taking part in an event to mark the Queen's 90th birthday.
A beacon will be lit on the Green at St Johns at 8:30pm on Thursday by the Captain of the Parish of German Mr Allen Corlett.
Members of the public are invited to attend as the beacon will be one of more than 1,000 lit throughout the UK, Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories.
The Isle of Man Civil Defence Unit is also planning to shine a light from the summit of Snaefell - which will coincide with special beacons being lit from the UK's four highest peaks.
