Government Unveil Proactive Measures in Tackling Drugs
An important step forward was taken yesterday in the Isle of Man's fight against drugs.
It came out of the second Misuse of Drugs Act meeting that went before the House of Keys.
The new legislation will ensure that the Isle of Man will not need to wait for the UK when it comes to crunch decisions about future substances which find themselves branded legal.
The Island of course was seen as a front runner in the way it tackled the plant food problem.
MHK Bill Malarkey who was integral in getting plant food outlawed told 3FM that the Island will have the power to ban drugs.
