Island signs tax exchange agreement with Switzerland

It means both countries have agreed to cooperate in the automatic trade of financial account information. 

 

It was signed in London by the Swiss Ambassador to the UK and Treasury Minister Eddie Teare last week. 

 

Jersey and Guernsey have also agreed respectively to adhere to international standards in tax transparency.
