Island Receives Morale Boosting AAA Credit Rating
The Isle of Man has received a moral booster after a AAA credit rating was awarded by Standard and Poor’s.
The certification came after they reviewed the Island’s financial position in light of the recent announcement of an impending budget slash.
The positive news will act as encouragement as the government currently struggle to impose a 15% cut in each department to help balance the books and deal with the 90 million pound loss on next years funds.
Treasury Minister Alan Bell has said both external investors and local residents should take comfort from this announcement.
