The Island's information commissioner is taking part in an investigation into a huge data breach at a trade union.
Earlier this year, Prospect told its members data had been taken including ethnicity, sexual orientation, faith and disabilities.
A joint investigation has now been launched involving the Isle of Man, UK, Jersey and Guernsey into the cyber incident in June.
Information Commissioner Dr Alexandra Delaney-Bhattacharya says the investigation will strengthen the ability to safeguard individuals' data.
