Island Honoured For Strong Links With Space Mission

Space Memorabilia Presented to Chief Minister

The Island’s strong links with a recent mission to the International Space Station were recognised recently when the Chief Ministerwas presented with a number of space memorabilia gifts.

The link came in the form of Nicole Stott, whose husband Chris is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Island-based aerospace company Mansat.

The Chief Minister was presented with a framed montage of photographs from the mission, as well as the NASA mission patches.

Nicole served as a flight engineer on board, during a live link she was seen wearing an Ellan Vannin T shirt.
