Island students have hit a a higher GCSE pass rate than in the UK.
Results annoucned earlier this week show 73 percent got A* to C grades.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture says half those who sat exams go on to sixth form, while 40 per cent are due start a course at the Island's college.
Minister Daphne Caine says students should take pride in their accomplishments, no matter the grade.
