Island being recognised by UK Government

The Treasury Minister says he was heartened by George Osborne’s comments during his Budget presentation in Westminster this week.

A penny off the price of beer and the scrapping of a planned hike in fuel will cost the Manx economy just shy of one million pounds.

However, Eddie Teare says it’s not all bad news after the UK Chancellor sang the praises of the crown dependencies.
