Police are warning people to make sure their cars are fit for winter.
Officers stopped dozens of drivers yesterday because of problems with their cars.
Members of the Central Neighbourhood policing team have been checking lights and faults with cars near Braddan Bridge in Douglas.
Yesterday, more than 20 drivers were given vehicle defect forms, which gives them seven days to fix the fault with their car.
