Police are warning bikers to complete safety checks before heading out for a spin.
The Roads Policing Unit says now the weather's improving more people will be out and about on their bikes.
But officers are urging motorcyclists to check their tyres and oil, and to make sure exhausts are fitted with a silencer before going on the roads.
Police say any bike made after April 2003 must have a silencer with a BS or E number on it.
