A UK Newspaper has published a story branding multi-coloured pavement designs a hazard to both people with dementia and epilepsy.
The paving in Grimsby’s town centre is identical in style and design to the new paving laid around Douglas as part of the regeneration works.
The article claims the brightly-coloured slabs could give pedestrians epileptic fits and confuse people with dementia.
Chris Pycroft of the Douglas Development Partnership says there's been no reports of this nature since the work was undertaken:
