People of all faiths are being invited to a vigil on the Isle of Man to pray for the people of Afghanistan.
Thousands have been trying to flee the country after the Taliban seized control of the capital Kabul.
The drop-in vigil will take place at Trinity Methodist Church in Douglas between 16:00 and 20:00 (BST) this evening.
There will also be prayers for those caught up in the earthquake in Haiti where the death toll is more than 2,000.
The Christian Aid event will involve quiet reflection with prayers and readings every 15 minutes.
