Could the Island's McDonalds re-open by June?
It comes following a message released from McDonald's UK and Ireland CEO - Paul Pomroy.
It marks eight weeks since the franchise closed and today will see the test of its return to both the UK and Ireland.
The fast-food outlet is reopening this week for delivery only in some parts of South East England.
However, Wednesday, May 20 will see the reopening of a further 30 pilot restaurants in the UK and Ireland, offering service from the Drive Thru lane.
It adds moving in step with government guidelines, the chain plans to reopen all of its Drive Thrus by early June.
McDonalds will also cap spending at £25 per car and is encouraging customers to use contactless methods wherever possible.
