The Isle of Man's donated £800,000 to the World Health Organisation.
The cash, which comes from the international development budget, will help the vaccine roll-out in South Africa and Madagascar.
The funding will also help to suppress transmission, protect the vulnerable and reduce mortality rates.
The Manx government said the move is all about tackling COVID-19 as part of a global community.
