The Isle of Man Constabulary has launched 'Operation Sentinel' to prevent theft and robbery across the Island.
The force says as the cost of living has increased significantly, it will ultimately increase the likelihood of individuals offending.
Officers will be visiting vulnerable premises and offering advice, and has issued some top tips for protecting your property.
It includes installing a security system, taking photographs of valuables and making your property look occupied when there's nobody there.
