After just 5 years of operation the Isle of Man’s Aircraft registry reached its landmark 500th aircraft registry last week.
The Bombardier Global 5,000 had been freshly delivered from a factory in Canada.
The Island is currently the fastest growing offshore aircraft register in the world and the 7th largest business jet register.
Economic Development Minister John Shimmin said the success of the register was down to the hard work of the staff and the strong relationships with the aviation services industry.
