The inquest into the death of a Manx Grand competitor will be opened today.
50-year-old Gary Firth was killed during the Senior IMGold Manx Grand Prix race on August 29th.
The newcomer from Barnsley in Yorkshire came off his bike at the 11th Milestone.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham will open proceedings at Douglas Courthouse at 2.30pm.
