The inquest into the death of a nurse from Castletown was opened at Douglas Courthouse yesterday.
36-year-old Blake Oliver Spellar was found dead at his home on Hope Street earlier this month.
Coroner of Inquests Jayne Hughes presided over the opening - the court heard his cause of death was yet to be established.
Proceedings were adjourned to a date to be fixed.
