Police have confirmed a wallaby they rescued from the sea in Ramsey yesterday has died.
Two officers entered the water near Ballure Promenade to retrieve the animal which was injured.
They say the wallaby had sustained a leg fracture and had serious internal injuries and had to be put to sleep.
