The Department for Enterprise says it can't release information about the former chair of the Visit Isle of Man agency.
A Freedom of Information request to DfE asked for more information after Andrew Mackness stepped down last month.
It wanted all correspondence, including his reason for resigning and his letter of resignation.
But the department says it's personal information which can't be released under FOI laws.
