The union representing bus drivers says they could continue industrial action for a considerable length of time.
Yesterday drivers planned two stoppages as the row over their terms and conditions continues.
However the staff involved found themselves locked out of the depot and as such were prevented from working for the time in between the strike periods.
National officer for Unite Bobby Morton believes the move by their bosses was futile as he's confident that drivers will be legally entitled to receive their pay for the day.
Mr Morton says it may set a precedent:
