Seven individuals and 13 businesses have been convicted of tax and national insurance offences.
At Douglas Magistrates Court, they were fined a total of more than £22,000.
Nine businesses who didn't pay income tax instalments or National Insurance contributions on time were fined £13,500.00.
Meanwhile, two companies that failed to comply with a notice to submit company tax returns were fined £1,400.
And another two firms failed to comply with a notice to submit accounts supporting tax returns and were fined £1,250.00.
